You know. . . I went to dinner last night with my husband and we had never been there. Our server was wonderful and our appetizer of the Caprece Salad was great. But I must say, when our dinner came it was very salty and because of this, we barely touched it. We didnt make a complaint, just waited for the food to be picked up. I appreciated who ever came over, i assume the manager, to ask what was wrong and she took off one of the items from out ticket. HOWEVER, i found how she handled the situation quite rude. Telling me if we ever came in NOT to order the food we picked and that they have had their recipes for 17 years with out problems and asked if i'd ever HAD chicken paremesan before. She made us feel like idiots when all we POLITELY said was that it was quite salty. Even the table NEXT TO US complained about the salt content of their food. How DARE a person of authority make someone, who is coming in to spend money, feel as if their opinion means nothing. I LOVE the dish I got at OTHER restaurants and i understand each chef puts his own spin on how it can be prepared, thats fine, but instead of apologizing and leaving it at that, she almost seemed to get mad that we said anything and then offered a free dessert as she walked away. NO THANK YOU. And dont worry, many people I've talked to have said the same thing about the food. Too bad the situation was handled so poorly, we would have liked to come back and give it a second try. . .

Scratch the last question...I read below. Thanks!

I would like to purchase a gift certificate over the phone or online for my mother. I live in Arizona, so will have my sister pick it up for me. Is this possible?
-
Gift certificates can be bought two ways:
#1 Call during business hours with your credit card information and the address you'd like the certificate sent to. We'll pop it in the mail the next day.
#2 Come on in and we'll make one out for you.
Either option can be purchased for any denomination you choose.
Happy Holidays! -
How may I order a gift certificate? Looked on your website and couldn't figure it out.

I wish to praise an excellent job to the lovely young manager on duty last Saturday night. You were totally amazing in the way that you remained in total control and avoided a catastrophe with the a/c thingy going out by personally checking on me. That really made my visit amazing, and I wan't to thank you for caring and treating me like a quest rather than a customer. I will have to make arrangements to have dinner again the next time I return to Bakersfield.

Greetings Uricchio's!
I am very eager to come in and apply at your amazing restuarant. I have always had such great experiences and look forward to becoming a hostess or waitress. Is there a good time to come in to meet a manager and bring in my resume?
Thanks so much! -
You guys are terrific..No one tops what you do.
Thanks

In response to your recent dining experience Shannon, I apologize. You are absolutely correct when it comes to re-fills; an empty wine-glass when enjoying a good meal could be categorized as a minor tragedy!
As for your chicken being undercooked, please send me an email (to the link on this site) with your mailing address so I can send you a gift certificate. We want all of our guests to be completely satisfied, and hope you'll give us an opportunity to treat you to a better experience in the future. -
I was wondering if you have any vegetarian options? Does your marinara have chicken broth? And is your soups vegetarian?
Thanks -
This email is regarding my service at your resturant last week.
I was there with a friend having wine for lunch.
I was not impressed with the service- she was slow,
hardly checked up on us. I have been to your location before
when it was much much busier. There was hardly anyone there.
When I served years ago, when your glass of wine is almost empty-
the server should ask the client/customer if she or he would like another.
Just sayin!
I ordered the chicken piccata and it was not done all the way-very pink.
I complained to the server as nicely as possible.
They went and ahead and asked me if I would like something else.
Which I said no because my "date" had his food and it would be such a waste with limited time to head back to work.
I was not pleased.
I normally leave very happy. -
I am planning a dinner party for approximately 20 people on Friday June 24 or Jume 25th. I need to check for availabilty and also menu choices and prices.

Composer and Guitarist Marc Irving Weber
Dr. Weber has a Bachelor of Music from the Cleveland Institute of Music, a Master of Music from Yale School of Music, and a Ph.D. from the University of Iowa. He has composed for orchestra, band, mixed ensembles, choirs, and a variety of solo instruments over the years.
Recently returned to California, where he was born and raised, Marc has been focusing on performing. He plays throughout LA, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Kern Counties.
His live music is influenced by everything from classical, jazz, folk, rock, and blues to music from the Near and Far East. In addition to his ‘fixed’ compositions he loves to improvise, and has found some unique solutions to the problem of performing alone. “I am trying to bring more and more counterpoint into my improvising – it is easy enough to write that sort of thing out, but more challenging to do ad lib.”
Marc often employs open tunings, creating a fluid and dynamic bass drone underneath his solo lines. He also uses a digital delay system, creating canons (one line of music ‘copying’ another line) or setting up a call-and-response effect. “As a musician, I love bouncing ideas off of others and in a solo setting I can use some simple technology to transform aspects of myself into the ‘other’ – I send out a ‘call’ and then try to react to it; just the right amount of echo allows things to return a bit, and sometimes the effect can be pretty amazing.” -
